• Pertinax Pennyweight is a Goblin and a member of the Pennyweight Clan. A Goblin Clan that is a subsect of the Bilgewater and Steamwheedle Cartel. Pertinax has shifted to both the Steamwheedle to Bilgewater.
• Has the background 'City Guard' as he is a former Steamwheedle Bruiser before being self-employed as a sellsword. He is still welcomed at the Garrison the Booty Bay Bruiser's barracks and training yard. He can always get free lodgings while at the Bay.
• Carries a pair of Jaguerian katanas he took off members of Gorilla Clan who had infiltrated the city. Has a distrust of the Human ninja clans and their secretive ways, especially when it involves his city.
• As a member of Pennyweight Clan & Booty Bay citizen, he is an ally of the Blackwater Raiders and its off-shoot, Blackwater Company as long as they maintain friendly relations with the Bay.
