Notes

• Wes McCastlain is the youngest son of John McCastlain, the ranching baron whose wealth comes from the livestock on the range. Unlike his other brothers, John has built up a career big game hunting in the Southern Jungles, writing, and being an heir rather than a use. He's on the outs with the family and partly cut off from his resources.
• Delia Sharpe is a Half-Elven gunslinger in-between jobs acting as a hired gun or bodyguard. After winning a game of cards for a treasure map, Delia is positive she's got a chance at a fortune, she just needs help to secure it.
• The two are working together. Two gunslingers: Wes favors a longarm for maximum range, Delia prefers twin pistols and rapid firing. The two have plans to get their hands on the gold, and maybe have plans for each other.
