- Ralphie 'Ralph' King is a genetically engineered Dogfolk that was bred by the Empire of Man before they collapsed to act as a psychic slave soldier in their war against other beast folk. As the Empire of Man withdrew and partly collapsed, Dogfolk like Ralphie were abandoned and left to die. Despite this mistreatment, Ralphie feels a distant sense of loyalty to pure stock humans and will attach himself to any that remain.
- Has been bred for battle. He has superior night vision, natural attack with his jaws, and through intense psychotherapy is highly resistance to fear. He is meant to be the first in, last out, and to give himself in defense of Humans.
- Currently working with an independent outfit of noble (or at least non-bigoted) pure stocks that have been operating in the Benny Area.
