Flick of the Mire

Brief
Grippli are amphibian humanoids that are the same size as a Halfling or Gnome, making them small. Their color tones range from shades of green to more exotic blues, yellows, reds, and blacks. The more exotic hues that there is something unusual in a Grippli's blood chemistry, such as having toxins in their bloodstream or connected to some eldritch magic. Grippli make their home along river valleys and swamps, making them common neighbors with Halfling. The two groups rarely are hostile, but have only allied in the presence of a greater threat.

Notes
  • Flick is a Grippli Scout for the community of Marshlight Landing, one of the few areas within the Great Salt Marsh that is actually quite fertile and can support a community of hardy Humans, Goblins, and Grippli.
  • Is a veteran of the Great War, having served on the Elven side by acting as a guide through the region. He is one of the few Grippli to actively take a side in the war between Humans and Elves. Any bloodshed was against horrors and animals that lurked in the swamps, rather than actually taking part in pitched battles.
