Tabitha Knit was the other half of Knock & Knit. Given the nature of their work, they had an equal split of everything, including his & her cauldrons. What she brewed was different then what her boyfriend worked on. Her latest work was in sleeping draughts, one hard inhale and someone could drop over from the powerful fumes that filter above. Knit had a damp cloth over her nose and mouth as she worked.

"What would you like to do for dinner?" Hugo asked from a distance.

Tabitha thought as she stirred, "Take out maybe? Perhaps Scobie House?"

"Noisy." Hugo complained, "How about Tolbooth?"

Tabitha used a ladle to draw a sample of the mixture to check the coloring. When the mix brewed together, things could look uniform and correct, but then drawing smaller samples for bottling would reveal flaws that were not initially noticed. The coloring of the draught looked acceptably pink.

"Aren't you tired of being in gloomy taverns?" Tabitha asked. She looked up at her mate, for the first time his goggles were resting on his head, she could see his grey eyes for the first time. Smiling at him for a moment, Tabitha had gotten Hugo to tug at his collar and agree, "Fine. Would you like to go to Sobie's?" 

Notes 

• Tabitha Knit is the second half of Knock & Knit. Unlike her boyfriend, Hugo Knock, Tabitha is a specialist alchemist known as an Apothecary. She specializes in draughts, poisons, herbals, and other medicines rather than outwardly destructive mixtures, like alchemist's bombs.
• Sometimes takes part in adventuring, acting as a party healer by carrying extra health potions and healer's kits rather than direct spells like a Cleric.
• As good and proper Gnomes, Hugo and Tabitha have their potions properly marked and sorted between the two. All of the markings are, however, written in Gnomish.
