Notes

  • Gerard is a former knight who has been cursed to Wraithdom after being slain by a Dread Wraith. Fortunately, or unfortunately, Gerard's master was slain, making Gerard a freewilled undead existing in the world. He has returned to his estate, finding it raided by enemies from House Capet, the historic enemies of House Montbard who form a border with their realm. His living relatives scattered, and his parent's bones scattered as part of House Capet's depradations.
  • Montbard has vowed to become a true terror to his family's enemies. Gathering his heirloom sword and armor from hidden vaults within his estate. Montbard plans to find and strike at the Capet family at their steading near Calun Hill.
  • Several Capets are rumored to wield eldritch magics and necromancy. This could be the confrontation between the vengeful damned and the inhuman living.
