Brief: The Pennyweight Clan is a Goblin Banking Clan founded by a pair of brothers who made their money acting as airship pilots during the 2nd and partly from the 3rd wars that plagued Azeroth until, after several close calls with disaster and death, decided to settle down and use their wealth to enter in the at times equally hazardous world of banking, land speculation, and insurance brokerage across Azeroth. The Pennyweight's enjoy that their name is often overlooked and underestimated by their rivals, making their victories all the more sweeter. As there were two brothers, the Pennyweight's have divided their influence both of the Horde-aligned Bilgewater Cartel and the neutral Steamwheedle Cartel. It's possible to find branch offices of their banking firm in Horde territories as well as neutral locations and some Alliance territories. Their interest in interacting with adventuring groups and private crews is often lending and insurance - their bread and better.

Notes 

• The Pennyweight Clan were founded by Augustus (Bilgewater) and Octavian (Steamwheedle) Pennyweight. Both were quite fruitful with the Steamwheedle branch including family members such as brothers Olybrius, Nerva, Minerva, and Vitellus who are all Steamwheedle members and are related to their cousins who are specifically Bilgewater members: Pertinax, Vespasian, Galba, and Otho Pennyweight. One of the few Pennyweight's related, but not involved, is Firmus Pennyweight, who is a Shaman working for the Blackwater Company.
• Rivals the Investor's Bank of Azeorth (IBA). Like the Investors, Pennyweight maintains a small fleet and a few trained Loan Sharks that act as couriers and enforcers across the wave. Those sharks can be expensive train, the Pennyweight's are hoping to find a more effective sea life to move goods and enforce any debts. One or two experiments are being conducted in bringing in whales.
• The Pennyweight's often contract established or help put together independent crews to carry out jobs with them as partners. As Goblins, even the neutral Pennyweight's often have luck with Horde or Factionless over the Alliance.
