Notes 

• Malcolm Early is the younger brother of Josephine 'Jo' Early. He is a part-time lover, a street performer with the juggling, knife fighter, and now reluctant rebel after helping his friends get revenge on some the corrupt foreman, Harold Frick, which resulted in Malcolm stabbing the man to protect his friends. Now Malcolm is in the rebel underground being helped by his sister.
• Is a master with the knife. His Sneak Attacks are buffed when he uses light blades over other weapons. He carries an heirloom dagger, a magical weapon that is capable of apporting into his hand after the weapon is thrown.
• Is torn between trying to get off the planet, helping his sister, and being with his girlfriend. A fellow Hummingbird Girl, Danielle Dusk, a singer and performer at the Hummingbird tavern.
